Performance Programmes - County Netball Academies

North Durham are proud to announce we are working in partnership this season with Gateshead College Academy for Sport on our performance programmes for our County Netball Academies.

This will include access to the 1st class facilities and specialist staff from the Academy.
Gateshead College run an outstanding Netball Academy. provision. This includes:

• Specialist coaching from our very own Head Performance Coach Julie Kimber who is the full time Netball Head Coach
• Competitive match play in the AoC Sport North East League
• Player progression through AoC Sport and the England Netball player pathway
• Specialist S&C sessions delivered by Lead S&C Coach Claire Topham
• Access to Ice Baths
• Access to a free Physio service
• Access to S&C and training facilities
• 1-1’s and groups tutorials on Nutrition, Recovery, Fitness facilities​

🏐 Performance Academy trials 🏐

Trials are open and players can nominate themselves. Please only nominate yourself once.

Trials will be held on Saturday 26th June and 27th June 2021 at Harton Academy South Shields outside

• U14 Satellite 9-12 years old Saturday 26th June a time slot will be sent to you
• U16 County 13-15 years old Sunday 27th June a timeslot will be sent to you
• U18 County 16-18 years old Sunday 27th June a timeslot will be sent to you

• You will be allocated a 2.5 hour slot
• Times are 9-11.30 - 12.00-2.30 - 3.00-5.30
• We will be following England Netball Guidelines and players will need to use the track and trace for North Durham
• There is a £5 fee for the trials, this needs to be paid on the day in an envelope with the players name on
